The seventh piece in the TRAPA collection continues to explore the form and history of the water chestnut.
Echoing the rapid spread of an invasive species, the plant’s spike takes over the form of the bracelet, multiplying across 25 links. A hook-shaped clasp is concealed among them, joining the beginning and end into a continuous circle.
The spine-like structure evokes a time when the ancestors of the modern water chestnut existed alongside massive marine reptiles and dinosaurs.
The bracelet is crafted from sterling silver. Rhodium plating or a white gold version is available upon request.
